The town of Greenfield, MA, like many towns has a shortage on affordable housing and a immediate need to create more housing. Sandwiched between two main roads, the Greenfield Housing Authority owns land that is currently undeveloped. This parcel of land is adjacent to other multifamily developments and there is an opportunity to develop and share resources.

The site constraints and the design of the new multifamily housing units were analysed in such a way as to maximize the amount of units that could fit onto the parcel of land. Zoning approvals were obtained and the project is moving forward.
